Amity Board of Education

  • Carol Oladele, Amity BOE Candidate

    •     Current member of the Amity Board of Education since 2021, serves as Chair of the Communications Subcommittee

    •     Board member of Area Cooperative Education Services Board (ACES)

    •     Integral part of implementing advanced communication opportunities between parents and the ABOE

    •     An advocate for strong academic programs, transparent communication, and collaboration to ensure that every student has the resources they need to thrive

    •     Employed at Yale University as a chronic disease epidemiologist and health disparities researcher

    •     Member of the American Public Health Association, American Heart Association, and Children’s Ministry at Kingdom Life Church

    •     Holds a Master and Doctorate of Public Health from University of Florida, and a B.S. in Health Education from Florida State University

    -       7 year resident of Woodbridge, where she resides with her husband and two children, both Amity Regional High School students.

  • Donna Schuster, Amity BOE Candidate

    -       Current member of the Amity Board of Education, serves as Chair of the Ad Hoc School Start Time Committee, and as a member of the Policy, Communications, Curriculum, and Health and Safety Committees

    -       Integral part of increasing communication between the community and the Board through newsletters and facilitating community forums

    -       Instrumental in the newly adopted cell phone policy to minimize distractions during learning time and lessen impact on mental health

    -       Actively participates in ensuring a healthy school environment focusing on nutrition, mental health, and mitigation of illness

    -       Former Guardian Ad-Litem for abused and neglected children

    -       Holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Widener University and a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management

    -       Moved to Woodbridge in 2017 with her husband and three children for the excellent school systems
