Lauren Francese, Selectman Candidate
Lauren has proven herself as an experienced leader and dedicated educator throughout her two decades within Connecticut public schools. She currently serves as the Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator for Westport Public Schools, and was recognized for her outstanding leadership in April with the 2025 Pamela Bellmore Gardner Social Studies Leadership Award. As a Project Associate she was instrumental in the development of Connecticut’s new social studies standards which center around six pillars: justice, representation, inclusivity, agency, global content, and local connections. Maria Madonick, Selectman Candidate
Incumbent Board of Selectmen candidate, Maria Madonick, has been a Woodbridge resident since 2015 when she, along with her husband, Michael, and four children moved to their home here in town. Their children have attended Beecher Road School and Amity Middle School. Since moving to Woodbridge, Maria has sought ways to serve our community. Maria served on the Beecher Road School PTO coordinating Special Events and as Treasurer. She served on the Superintendent’s budget committee and School Resource Officer review committee. She was elected to serve on the Woodbridge Board of Education and was elected by the Board to serve as Vice Chair. Steve Munno, Selectman Candidate
Incumbent Board of Selectmen candidate Steve Munno serves as the Executive Director of Massaro Community Farm. Throughout Steve’s 16 years of leadership, the farm has contributed significantly to the community and environment by: cultivating certified organic produce; donating produce to health and human service agencies throughout Greater New Haven; offering on-farm educational programs for youth and adults; and recently becoming a Certified Wildlife Habitat and a Certified Firefly Habitat.
